1  RAM 1994 search for a long-lived doubly-charged fermion ${{\mathit X}^{++}}$ with mass between ${\mathit m}_{{{\mathit N}}}$ and ${\mathit m}_{{{\mathit N}}}+{\mathit m}_{{{\mathit \pi}}}$ and baryon number $+$1 in the reaction ${{\mathit p}}$ ${{\mathit p}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit X}^{++}}{{\mathit n}}$ . No candidate is found. The limit is for the cross section at 15$^\circ{}$ scattering angle at 460 MeV incident energy and applies for $\tau\mathrm {({{\mathit X}^{++}})}{}\gg0.1~\mu $s.
