$\Delta \Gamma _{{{\mathit B}_{{d}}^{0}}}$ $/$ $\Gamma _{{{\mathit B}_{{d}}^{0}}}$

$\Gamma _{{{\mathit B}_{{d}}^{0}}}$ and $\Delta \Gamma _{{{\mathit B}_{{d}}^{0}}}$ are the decay rate average and difference between two ${{\mathit B}_{{d}}^{0}}$ $\mathit CP$ eigenstates (light $−$ heavy). The $\lambda _{CP}$ characterizes ${{\mathit B}^{0}}$ and ${{\overline{\mathit B}}^{0}}$ decays to states of charmonium plus ${{\mathit K}_L^0}$ , see the review on “$\mathit CP$ Violation” in the reviews section.

“OUR EVALUATION” has been obtained by the Heavy Flavor Averaging Group (HFLAV) by taking into account correlations between measurements.

4  Reports $−\Delta {{\mathit \Gamma}_{{d}}}/{{\mathit \Gamma}_{{d}}}$ using ${{\mathit B}^{0}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit J / \psi}}{{\mathit K}_S^0}$ , ${{\mathit J / \psi}}{{\mathit K}_L^0}$ , ${{\mathit D}^{-}}{{\mathit \pi}^{+}}$ , ${{\mathit D}^{*-}}{{\mathit \pi}^{+}}$ , ${{\mathit D}^{*-}}{{\mathit \rho}^{+}}$ , and ${{\mathit D}^{*-}}{{\mathit \ell}^{+}}{{\mathit \nu}}$ decays.
5  Corresponds to 90$\%$ confidence range [$−$0.084, 0.068].
6  Used the measured $\tau _{{{\mathit B}^{0}}}$ = $1.55$ $\pm0.03~$ps. Corresponds to an upper limit of $<$ 0.18 at 95$\%$ C.L.
7  BEHRENS 2000B uses high-momentum lepton tags and partially reconstructed ${{\overline{\mathit B}}^{0}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit D}^{*+}}{{\mathit \pi}^{-}}$ , ${{\mathit \rho}^{-}}$ decays to determine the flavor of the ${{\mathit B}}~$meson. Assumes $\Delta _{ }=0.478$ $\pm0.018~$ps${}^{-1}$ and $\tau _{{{\mathit B}^{0}}}=1.548$ $\pm0.032~$ps.
