1  We have combined the values of $\langle{}\mathit N_{{{\mathit \Sigma}^{+}}}\rangle{}$ and $\langle{}\mathit N_{{{\mathit \Sigma}^{-}}}\rangle{}$ from ALEXANDER 1997E adding the statistical and systematic errors of the two final states separately in quadrature. If isospin symmetry is assumed this value becomes $0.174$ $\pm0.010$ $\pm0.015$.
