Seen by PAKHLOV 2008 in ${{\mathit e}^{+}}$ ${{\mathit e}^{-}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit J / \psi}}{{\mathit X}}$ , ${{\mathit X}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit D}^{*}}{{\overline{\mathit D}}^{*}}$ A state with consistent mass and width is seen by AAIJ 2021E in ${{\mathit B}^{+}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit X}{(4160)}}{{\mathit K}^{+}}$ with ${{\mathit X}{(4160)}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit J / \psi}}{{\mathit \phi}}$ using an amplitude analysis of ${{\mathit B}^{+}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit J / \psi}}{{\mathit \phi}}{{\mathit K}^{+}}$ with a significance (accounting for systematic uncertainties) of 4.8 $\sigma $. The $\mathit J{}^{PC} = 2{}^{-+}$ assignment is favored over other assignments with a significance of more than 4 $\sigma $.
