3  Experiments report ${{\mathit D}^{*0}}{{\overline{\mathit D}}^{0}}$ invariant mass above ${{\mathit D}^{*0}}{{\overline{\mathit D}}^{0}}$ threshold because ${{\mathit D}^{*0}}$ decay products are kinematically constrained to the ${{\mathit D}^{*0}}$ mass, even though the ${{\mathit D}^{*0}}$ may decay off-shell.
