${{\mathit t}}{{\overline{\mathit t}}}$ Production Cross Section in ${{\mathit p}}{{\mathit p}}$ Collisions at $\sqrt {s }$ = 13.6 TeV

ATLS ${{\mathit e}^{\pm}}{{\mathit \mu}^{\mp}}$ + 1 or 2 ${{\mathit b}}$-jets
1  AAD 2024 based on 29 fb${}^{-1}$ of data. The last error includes the luminosity uncertainty of $\pm20$ pb. The result is for ${\mathit m}_{{{\mathit t}}}$ = 172.5 GeV and in agreement with the SM prediction of $924$ ${}^{+32}_{-40}$ (scale+PDF+$\alpha _{s}$) pb. The ratio of the ${{\mathit t}}{{\overline{\mathit t}}}$ to the ${{\mathit Z}}$ production cross section is also measured as $1.145$ $\pm0.003$ $\pm0.021$ $\pm0.002$, which is consistent with the SM prediction of $1.238$ ${}^{+0.063}_{-0.071}$ (scale+PDF+$\alpha _{s}$). The uncertainties of luminosity and lepton efficiency largely cancel in the ratio.
