${{\mathit D}^{\pm}}$ $\mathit CP$-VIOLATING DECAY-RATE ASYMMETRIES

This is the difference between ${{\mathit D}^{+}}$ and ${{\mathit D}^{-}}$ partial widths for the decay to state ${{\mathit f}}$, divided by the sum of the widths:$

The CP asymmetry is measured as ${{\mathit A}_{{{CP|S}}}}$ = [($\Delta A{}^{top-left}_{raw}$ + $\Delta A{}^{bottom-right}_{ raw}$) $−$ ($\Delta A{}^{top-right}_{ raw}$ + $\Delta A{}^{bottom-left}_{ raw}$)]/2 where $\Delta A{}^{pos}_{raw}$ is the difference between the signal and control channel raw asymmetries in the $\mathit pos$ Dalitz plot bin of the resonance.
