FORWARD-BACKWARD ASYMMETRIES

The forward-backward assymmetry is defined as A$_{FB}$ = [ N(q$_{FB}>$ 0) $−$ N(q$_{FB}<$ 0)] $/$ [N(q$_{FB}>$ 0) + N(q$_{FB}<$ 0) ], where q$_{FB}$ = $−$ q$_{B}\cdot{}$sgn(${{\mathit \eta}_{{B}}}$) with q$_{B}$ as the ${{\mathit B}}$ hadron electric charge, ${{\mathit \eta}_{{B}}}$ as its pseudorapidity, and sgn(${{\mathit \eta}_{{B}}}$) as a sign function of ${{\mathit \eta}_{{B}}}$.

A$_{P}({{\boldsymbol B}^{+}}$) = [${\boldsymbol \sigma (}{{\boldsymbol B}^{-}}{)}$ $−$ ${\boldsymbol \sigma (}{{\boldsymbol B}^{+}}{)}$] $/$ [${\boldsymbol \sigma (}{{\boldsymbol B}^{-}}{)}$ $+$ ${\boldsymbol \sigma (}{{\boldsymbol B}^{+}}{)}$] INSPIRE search
