$I(J^P)$ = $1(5/2^{+})$
This state suggested by BERTHON 1970B finds support in GOPAL 1980 with new ${{\mathit K}^{-}}{{\mathit p}}$ polarization and ${{\mathit K}^{-}}{{\mathit n}}$ angular distributions. The very broad state seen in KANE 1972 is not required in the later (KANE 1974 ) analysis of ${{\overline{\mathit K}}}$ ${{\mathit N}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit \Sigma}}{{\mathit \pi}}$ .
