1  LEES 2012X obtain this value by dividing their B( τ f1(1285)πντ 3 π2 π+ντ) measurement by the PDG 2012 value of B( f1(1285) 2 π+2 π) = 0.111 0.006+0.007.
2  LEES 2012X obtain this value by dividing their B( τ f1(1285)πντ ηππ+πντ) measurement by 2/3 of the PDG 2012 value of B( f1(1285) ηππ) = 0.524 0.021+0.019.
3  AUBERT 2008AE obtain this value by dividing their B( τ f1(1285)πντ ηππ+πντ) measurement by the PDG 2006 value of B( f1(1285) ηππ+) = 0.35 ±0.11. The quote (3.19 ±0.18 ±0.16 ±0.99) ×104 where the final error is due to the uncertainty on B( f1(1285) ηππ+). We combine the two systematic errors in quadrature.
4  AUBERT,B 2005W use the f1(1285) 2 π+2 π decay mode and the PDG 2004 value of B( f1(1285) 2 π+2 π) = 0.110 0.006+0.007.
5  BERGFELD 1997 use the f1(1285) ηπ+π decay mode.
