$\mathit A{}^{(0,{{\mathit s}})}_{\mathit FB}$ CHARGE ASYMMETRY IN ${{\mathit e}^{+}}$ ${{\mathit e}^{-}}$ $\rightarrow$ ${{\mathit s}}{{\overline{\mathit s}}}$

INSPIRE   PDGID:

The ${{\mathit s}}$-quark asymmetry is derived from measurements of the forward-backward asymmetry of fast hadrons containing an ${{\mathit s}}~$quark.

1  ABREU 2000B tag the presence of an ${{\mathit s}}~$quark requiring a high-momentum-identified charged kaon. The ${{\mathit s}}$-quark pole asymmetry is extracted from the charged-kaon asymmetry taking the expected ${{\mathit d}}$- and ${{\mathit u}}$-quark asymmetries from the Standard Model and using the measured values for the ${{\mathit c}}$- and ${{\mathit b}}$-quark asymmetries.
2  ACKERSTAFF 1997T measure the forward-backward asymmetry of various fast hadrons made of light quarks. Then using SU(2) isospin symmetry and flavor independence for down and strange quarks authors solve for the different quark types. The value reported here corresponds then to the forward-backward asymmetry for ``down-type'' quarks.
